DIOCESE MUSEUM
The house serving today as a museum was built for the castle men of the Waldboten von Pfaffendorf in 1544.

Among other things the cathedral treasure is kept there. That means sacred things like gilt communion cups and richly decorated mass gowns. Most precious is the “Staurothek”, a Byzantine cross , a relic from the mid 10 th century, brought from Constantinople by crusaders in about 1404.

The beautiful glass windows from the St. Anna Church are also displayed there.
